Hi, I’m Ann, a Radio Producer and techy type from the UK.
I’m passionate about radio, sound, the spoken word – you name it, if it’s about audio and broadcasting, I’m there.
I’m a producer by trade but have had an eclectic career including reporting, tv, training, broadcast engineering and project management.
I want to bring different parts of the industry together and encourage new people to discover the joys of audio.
I also want to make sure we do whatever we can to get a broad range of voices on and off air – after all, everyone has a story to tell…

I’ve worked in radio since I was 18. I’ve been in love with it since I was six. Storytelling with audio is my vocation… and I want to share it with you.
I’ve been lucky to have made programmes for the world’s biggest broadcaster. Millions of people have heard the content I’ve made. I understand what it’s like to put yourself out there and worry about being judged.
Creating content can be lonely, at times. It’s a very personal journey – and deadlines, forms, and worries about being ‘good enough’ can really get in the way.
I was fortunate to have been named as one of the UK radio industry’s ’30 under 30’… a list of people who are working to make a difference to radio and audio. I’ve worked on every type of programme you can imagine, and with talent ranging from young children to extremely experienced presenters. Bringing out the best in other people and seeing their confidence grow is one of my joys.
I’m also fascinated by the technical side of production and have worked as a specialist on multimillion pound broadcast technology projects. I passionately believe that the more you understand technology, the more creative you can be.
I’m on a mission to support broadcasting and audio creation which comes from the heart. Great audio is a connection between one person’s story and another person’s brain. It can change lives. We need talented people to craft those stories and bring them to life.
We also need to remember that making audio is FUN and doesn’t have to be formal, serious, or involved filling in pages of forms before even being allowed to have an idea.
I’m very glad to meet you – thank you for dropping by!
